This indie title overtook the gaming behemoth Grand Theft Auto V which dropped to third place, down from second.
New entries to the top are the recently announced and highly anticipated Fallout 4, dinosaur survival game Ark: Survival Evolved and Ultima 8 which was until recently offered for free on Origin as their On the House game.

With hundreds of games on discount and lots of flash sales popping up for a limited time, Razer Cortex: Deals users kept checking back for the hottest deals on their favorite games and to not miss out on any bargains.
However, Steam wasn’t the only store with summer sales in June. Gamersgate, Uplay, Green Man Gaming and GOG.com also brought down their prices and gamers responded with all but Green Man Gaming registering growth and Uplay showing the highest rise in the top stores when compared to May.

Let’s take a look at June’s top played PC games on Razer Cortex.
In June League of Legend’s global winning streak is broken as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive becomes the game Razer Cortex users have spent the most time playing. The difference in time spent playing is small but it is interesting to see the ‘king of games’ dethroned by a long living classic.
Another noticeable change in the chart was the position swap between World of Warcraft and Battlefield 4 who take the two lower spots respectively.
At a regional level it’s interesting to see that each different part of the globe has its own favorite game. The Americas hold on to LoL, Asia favors its direct competitor DOTA 2 and Europe prefers the FPS genre with CS:GO.
Heroes of the Storm seems to be recovering some steam in Europe since its brief appearance in the top played PC games back in April. Could it be now that we’ll see Blizzard’s MOBA take over?
